Size of Fed's Balance Sheet Limits Public's Losses

If the FED starting to do this, how do you think that the rest of the world would view these actions?

I believe that the Chinese Etc, would stop propping up the US economy by buying T bills Etc. If this does happen then the yield rate would likely rise, causing further problems for USA inc.

As for the FED doing off-balance sheet liabilities, I believe that it would fool hardy in the extreme, as trust in the authorities is vital in these critical times.
