Cramer's Lightning Round - Johnson & Johnson 'Is' America [View article]
are you kidding? cramer is a huge dem. i think people are rightly disappointed that obama's stimulus package, which is touted to focus so much on infrastructure spending, only has a small percentage of spending allocated to infrastructure.

the author appears to be a little late to the party considering these stocks have already rallied 35%-50%. most hit their lows the thursday/friday before obama's "big" announcement.

i cannot believe that dryships could be classified as "unfairly beaten" or "good company". did you pay attention at all last year, when the dry bulk shippers were ordering a ridiculous amount of new ships? but i'm sure it will trade back up to its high......just like all the tech companies did....

how about this- if you cannot successfully run your business, you should fail. if you work at a failing business, i guess you should've considered failure a possibility and taken precautions to protect yourself against it. what ever happened to individual responsibility?
i think the thought of legislation to suspend dividends of banks participating in the TARP is appalling. treasury "volun-told" the nine major banks to participate in the program (to prevent any stigmas), and i would hope that our nation's "leaders" (used lightly) would realize the implications of forcing those banks to participate, and then mandating a dividend suspension. if a bank exec came to washington with his/her hat in hand looking for a hand out, i could see mandates like that being attached; but (i would hope) such actions would not be taken on those who were "forced" in.

great article! *i thought everyone one SA hated america* kidding. no really, we have free (sometimes) markets, stable political and fair legal systems; and while we're not perfect, we are the better and safer alternative. this is the reason that, during the past few weeks, investors have been running for US treasuries and demanding dollars. and this crisis has shown the world is not "decoupled" from us; to be a prosperous world, the world needs a prosperous USA

everyone's always talking about, "the expense of taxpayers". i realize what i'm about to say sounds a little socialist, however, ... ...there are many to blame for the current problems- and they are all taxpayers; irresponsible borrowers, irresponsible lenders, companies and boards making poor decisions, politicians making horrible decisions. at least this plan spreads the burden around; although i imagine some defaulting on their loans may not even pay taxes- but nothing's perfect.
i am just tired of hearing defense of the "taxpayers" and attacks on wall st. it is taxpayers, though not all of us, that are at fault.

thank you for illustrating the problem with our country's leaders: with so many domestic and global issues and concerns, somehow athletes using steroids is viewed as a high priority.
