    Silver miners are approaching that now. The best ones cost about 16 an oz. the average 20, the bad 24-25.

    The risks are if gold goes down to 1,000 there is no profit. The risks are if the miners cant deliver, SAND loses money (though not all of it because their contracts are pretty solid to protect them). Thats about it.

    It is indeed about the margins. The generics resulted in LOWER revenues....but MORE profit. Since they pay less for the bulk generics but sell at a price giving great margins.

    I own a small position in my youngest sons education savings account. No big deal. However, considering he has been crushed in (AAPL) and (SLW) this helps even the score a lil bit. I do think (RAD) is turning it aroudn though.

    Please note a reverse split doesnt really have an effect. SAND's didnt necessarily help it, though some may have felt more comfortable with a higher share price committing capital. When they did their split SAND's path to profitibility had been laid out a bit. It was a good investment then, better now.

    Always good to have the chart on your side but I am a fundamentalist at heart for my long-term investments. My options trading (many equities I trade I dont even write about) does rely more on charts.

    Soon didnt mean next few weeks but I would expect by end 2014 which in all honesty is soon for a long-term (5-10yr+) investor. Great comment though.

    For the record I dont like it either...yes the fees, but also who manages it, and the fact that they utilize fractional silver reserves. Does it track the price of silver well? Yes it does...but if thats your whole point, then buy physical or PSLV. The only advantdge is options which can provide leveraged bi directional exposure.
