Dan Plettner invests and licenses his own real time trading data to Covestor Ltd. Dan previously licensed his written content to DealFlow Media, for the Closed-End Fund Alert. Dan focuses his qualitative investigative research methods on Closed-End Funds and other underfollowed securities. His efforts seek to identify potential valuation changes which are unanticipated by median market participants. He believes readily available “quantitative research” is of minimal value for achieving outsized returns within any particular investing style. Dan Plettner was born in 1975 and has been investing since his teen years. After completing his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio), he won the “NSD award” as a retail Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
