Daniel Carroll is a stock-picker at heart, with over 13 years of investment experience to his credit. At Gulf Investment Management and OppenheimerFunds, Inc., Daniel developed and implemented a unique investment strategy as part of a successful team with a 25-year track record. He managed part of a buy list for $2.5 billion of assets and thousands of clients, while cultivating a deep understanding of such diverse sectors as technology, telecommunications, consumer, health care, and industrials. Prior to that, he served as an equity analyst with Verity Management Group and with Barnett Capital Advisors, refining his ability to find and analyze promising investments. Before this, Daniel worked in a variety of roles, including investment marketing, mutual fund operations, and database analysis at Barnett Bank, Merrill Lynch, and First Union National Bank. Daniel received his master's degree in business administration from Emory University, and his bachelor's degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Florida. He also earned the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
