Daniel Nunes has over 15 years of experience working in the investment industry. Mr. Nunes began his career in 1997, as a floor runner and pit assistant at the Mercantile and Futures Exchange (BM&F) in Sao Paulo, Brazil. After four months in the floor, Mr. Nunes was promoted to become part of the statistical team at the exchange office, supporting Brazilian brokerages with commodities statistical studies’. In 1998, Daniel Nunes was invited to join the biggest commodities trading desk in Brazil at Hedging-Griffo CVSA, becoming a trader with daily activities including hedge trades utilizing futures and options, arbitrages, and structured commodities’ operations. After a quick summer passage in New York to acquire more experience as a trainee in a hedge-fund in 2001, Mr. Nunes worked at Arthur Andersen Business Audit division adding fundamental analysis experience to his resume. In 2002, Mr. Nunes came to Los Angeles to start a pos-graduation Investment & Finance program at UCLA, and in 2004 started as an options broker at StrikePoint Trading. During his 5 year passage at StrikePoint, he managed high networth clients’ accounts trading specifically options strategies, where he began to design his own options strategy used today for Vision’s clients. Daniel Nunes holds a bachelor degree from FGV (Fundacao Getulio Vargas Business School) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and is a Series 3 license holder.
