Yes I wrote an article about the announcement of the partnership in September.

Where did you hear that? I have no knowledge of this. This a question best addressed to Mimvi's executive team.
I am glad you ask. I do have a long position in Mimvi (which I have indicated in previous articles, but neglected to do so in this one - simply because I forgot to do so in my rush to publish). I have no other relationship with Mimvi.
Good article. I think Microsoft is also making the right alliances and acquistions to break into the mobile world in a real way.

I guess I didn't realize that people would want me to add much more to my articles. I am always happy to answer any questions. I am quite busy with all that I do and will add to my bio when I have time. Thanks for your comment.
Good article. It may take some time but Microsoft is forging the right partnerships to make Bing a success and I think mobile search and social search will be vital markets for Microsoft going forward. http://seekingalpha.co...
I think you raise very good points. The focus should clearly be on the continuing success of enterprise solutions and the promise of full integration between all Microsoft products from mobile to enterprise. I think mobile (software) will be a key component of Microsoft's future. http://seekingalpha.co...
I think you make good points here. Microsoft clearly faces a few dilemmas, but I don't think it will come out with its own smartphone. However I believe its overall mobile strategy is critical to its success. http://seekingalpha.co...
Thanks. I would posit MSFT's stock price will increase in correlation to the increase in mobile revenues. Keep an eye on its success with Windows Mobile.
I am been following Mimvi for quite a while and with the recent Press Release about their partnership with Microsoft I jumped on board. I think the stock is highly undervalued right now.
I am Daniel Todd. If you choose to read any of my articles, my interest is in the hottest space in technology, which is mobile. Within the mobile space I find one of the most intriguing areas is search. I choose to discuss companies within this space and if Microsoft partners with a company like Mimvi I am certainly going to discuss it. Mimvi is the only publicly traded, pure play mobile app search company and I will continue to mention them until there are other publicly traded companies in this space. I used to feel the same way about Google as I now feel about Mimvi.
Yes you are right MSFT's strength has always been in Office and Windows but the growth arena now is mobile and while MSFT might have been slow out the gate, here I posit that mobile search will determine one's success in the future. With that in mind Bing will be an important part of Microsoft's business going forward. I would not discount anyone who can do search well in this new marketplace.

In terms of Facebook beefing up its search, its partner Microsoft announced an interesting agreement yesterday with leading mobile app search and discovery company Mimvi to develop products and services. This could lead to interesting synergies going forward.
