Chris, do you mind sharing the response rate? I am assuming not all 1,000 doctors have responded.

Typo there, I meant "AMC theaters showing up on the MT.com website in my area." Which is what we should expect from the settlement agreement, so no surprise there.

AMC theaters are showing up on the Flixster website in my area. No Flixster logo though.

In this situation, I think the parent company may have been the better buy post-spin. While MUSA's margins are significantly below its peers due its business model, its forward PE is essentially in line with the peer group and MUSA is not significantly under-levered.

What are your thoughts about capex and financing? Would seem that if a peer's capex needs are relatively smaller vs. current market cap, lower expected dilution could explain the higher peer valuations.

I'm not Chris but I'll chime in here -
Re: Mongolia, I tend to think that the market's skepticism was quickly priced in following SAND's $55M deal with Entree. I think the market has already written the investment off.

Re: SLW, the majority of their growth is expected to come from Pascua-Lama. The market is just pricing in the uncertainty surrounding that mine.

The real question is whether management will overcome the issues and bring more streams online at Sandstorm M&E. If so, do your valuation work now and buy the story while it is still hairy.

I'd argue SAND is probably years away from declaring a meaningful dividend given the number of attractive opportunities to put capital to work through new streaming deals.

Quote from Watson, 2Q2012 conference call:

"The goal and this has been our goal from the very beginning is to pay a dividend when we feel we are at the point where the amount of cash flow coming in relative to the accretive acquisitions that we wanted to make provides us with surplus capital such that it should be returned to shareholders and I realistically think we are probably still a couple of years off given the fact that the capital markets are falling apart, for a lack of a better term here."
