What happened to 1260? 1300? Next do I get to hear about how I was "more wrong"?

    regarding accountability...

Mr. Bryant, your track record may be the worst of any contributor on this site. Buying China smallcaps throughout 2010? Baidu $260? $100 silver? Gold a risk off trade?

I have a history of being ever so slightly early with top calls and continually try to develop skills as a technician. Market psychology, which few even consider and fewer grasp, is my strength.

You refer to debt that represents paper money. There's a big difference between the two... Gold and silver are alternative deflation plays and yes, I believe they will outshine greenbacks in the very long term.

Thanks for all your comments Mr Gilburt. We may not see things identically, however I certainly respect that your analysis is not a regurgitation of earnings reports and mean reversions.

I was wildly wrong with my timing on this prediction.... We'll see if it's by 2 weeks or 2 months. Good luck all

Of course. As mentioned oil, gold and the euro experienced technical failures last week. Stock charts far and wide are hideous, but HFT makes reading stock charts less reliable.

Didn't see a question, just a lot of commas.

PS. I failed to include reason #8 (perhaps the most impactful): The end of US occupation of Iraq.

S&P 1300? Buying gold since October? Quite a mockery you make of Prechter, Elliott...

"With the Vix trending down in the last 2 weeks and with Christmas and New Years rapidly approaching you are looking for a 100+ point drop in the SP500"

    Yeah, pretty much...

The article was written early Friday morning.

You're absolutely correct. It took me 6 months to write this article as this is what I do for a living... Sarcasm aside, you make good points. In Australia the average financial professional earns $80K and the average coal miner earns $200K...
