ESPN and the SEC have entered into an agreement to operate a network which will air on August 2014. Not precisely on point for Point #1 but definitely within the ball park. ESPN is not only becoming the place for post-season college football but also becoming the place to see all SEC football, morning, day and night. The news release also mentioned basketball games being offered. Lastly, ESPN and the SEC have a 20 year contract.
The Walt Disney Company through ESPN is taking care of business. We should all look to ESPN inking additional deals with other conferences along these lines. ESPN is moving into market dominance with college football.
When coupled with the box office sales abroad to include China of Iron Man 3, U.S. debut of Iron Man 3, and earnings next week, the Walt Disney Company stock price is advancing, advancing quite well.

I think that the Walt Disney Company will do much better next week when allowing the box office open in the U.S. and China with Iron Man 3 as well as reporting earnings.

The Walt Disney Company is continuing to hit 52 week highs. Disney implemented at least 3/5 issues above. Earnings should be outstanding.
Please don't overlook "Oz: The Great and Powerful" as well as revenues for the parks. We should also get an insight into the yield for post-season college play.

Tim Cook CEO was far less than impressive. I did not hear all of the conference but what I heard was lackluster. No innovation equals no substantial increase in stock price. AAPL is down.
