The low volume is because just a few are playing, then trades get crowded/overbought, and then some bad news stampedes everyone to the exits creating heavier volume. And repeat.......and repeat....and repeat..........

    Meanwhile, back to the markets:

A reader explains the SPY candle at issue is a "bearish abandoned baby". You may research this at investopedia if you wish or put in your own views/comments/interpr...

    I thank the reader nevertheless.

Yes, Diogenes--we've seen it all now. The undeserved adoration reaches new heights.

"Your critical, judgmental statements on 3/17/09 of the new Obama administration's efforts to turn around the years of arrogant Republican mismanagement of our nation's economy are ridiculous beyond imagination. And to sit on sidelines writing your blog blasting away at politicians condemning their efforts to stem the misuse of TARP funds at AIG... what a joke. I'd like to see you run for Congress and see if they you do any better. How about offering something constructive for a change? Or are you just not capable of that kind of thinking?"

    Name withheld.

I love these emails. They're fun and reflect partisan derangement on a magnitude seldom seen.

Oh, and yes, I could do a better job in my not so humble opinion!

I'll try it this way, but it doesn't seem to post. Since it won't post you might go to their website and look for this interview on their site via Investors Business Daily.

I did speak with them and have passed your email to them for a response. Most of their people have taken off for the holiday and I expect a response next week. I can't guarantee they will satisfy your inquiry.

As you know we spent most of our time with them on tracking issues and posted a table on Tuesday I believe.
