My name is David Leman. I am one of five kids and I am married. At the young age of 18 and with a little bit of money I started investing. Though I believe now what I was doing was not investing. I was gambling. See, I thought I was gonna get rich quick at that age and I threw some money down on some penny stocks. I might as well have just gone to a casino. While I was bitter at the time I learned the most valuable lessons in investing; patience and due diligence.
I am currently in the United States Military and I am seeking a Bachelors Degree in Finance with Colorado Technical University. I am finally in my Senior Year. I am 24 years old. My favorite investors are Warren Buffett for his wisdom and Peter Lynch for his motivational themes that the average Joe can be a great investor.
Coming from humble beginnings; I was proud to say I lost all of my investment on the very first stock I had invested in. My dreams now are to become a financial analyst, get my CFA, and to be involved in this line of work that I am passionate about. I am here to read, learn, and share my own knowledge. I am a lifelong student and what I have learned is that the more I learn the more I realize that I don't know.
