As the globe reshuffles, Japan stands to be demoted from # 2 to # 4. They are out of meaningful efficiency enhancements as their shrinking population gets grayer. India is the best foreign bet but China's increasing capitalist bent is narrowing the gap. Don't forget the good ol' US, which is getting its house in much better order. The world had a chance to call our (pretending not to be bankrupt) bluff and mutiny but they thought about a world without us and decided against it. Ergo, we ramain the defacto captain of capitalism, now undergoing a legitimate renaissance.
