Sorry for the confusion, and I appreciate your giving me the opportunity to clear it up. I wouldn't say "ever worth owning". I am saying that for investors looking to buy a single "sector" ETF, the best sector ETF is Consumer Staples. Naturally, the best equity strategy is to buy the 'best' stocks despite their sector. But this article is focused on equity, sector ETFs. Good point: for our ETF analysis to have much merit, our individual risk/reward rating system for stocks has to be decent.
