CNET's Best Hope is a Buyout, But Who'd Buy at This Valuation? [View article]
What I can't understand about CNET is why the stock is so volatile. It seems like it moves at least 2-3% a day. It could just be my imagination, but it seems really unstable compared to other companies I watch. Is this just an effect from their smaller market capitalization or is it just my imagination? I think that you are right. With revenue falling, it would be hard to justify an acquisition at this price. Cnet does have some cool properties, but it needs to cheapen up a bit before another company will be willing to step in to try and turn things around.
