    • Ronin.: I think this stock is running up in anticipation of BB10, but the track record of RIM has been very poor.

    • Dennis Baker: RIMM is like Garmin. They had products that did one thing really well. Then the iPhone showed up and made a one use thing pointless.

    • Ronin.: Now imagine Garmin deciding to implement phone capabilities and produce their own apps and ecosystem to try to take back what was lost..haha

    • Dennis Baker: They actually did do a short-lived Nuvi-Phone. They've since retrenched around their core offerings.

    • Dennis Baker: Turns out the NTSB deal is smaller than I thought... 400 phones. A big in the bucket.

    • Ronin.: What was significant wasn't the size...it was the reason. They've experienced BB as unreliable...one of their their main selling points

    • Ronin.: That's what they said about the GUI...my iPhone ensures I don't miss meetings, and if I need some info and there's no copier...snap a pic

    • Ronin.: RIM co-CEOs called the iPhone a toy...hahaha...now they are making one of their own in a desparate attempt to survive... MS said things too
