    • 1980XLS: Yes, but I like options on 3X ETF's like FAS/FAZ = more fun and excitement. Scottrade will only let me margin up TVIX 30%

    • 1980XLS: Nothing has more "Juice" than PCLN & GOOG weekly options, especially on thurs. Fri even too scary for me, LOL

    • inquisitivemind7: FAS/FAZ track XLF and just checked FAS/FAZ options are LESS efficient than XLF options because of volume, tracking error, etc.

    • 1980XLS: Amost did AAPL 370 weekly puts for .75 today, hour later they were over $3.10. Had order loaded for 100 cntcts & chickened out, $22K per hr!

    • inquisitivemind7: I locked in some weekly AAPL 390 calls and 370 puts (like a manual straddle) expecting massive volatility tomorrow, we'll see if it pans out

    • inquisitivemind7: I've placed sell limits for both orders so if mkt see saws during the day, both orders will fill for profit,testing it out w/small positions

    • 1980XLS: That's crazy, need to catch the high side before 10:30. Sometimes get lucky and make $$ on both sides. Don't know about that spread though

    • inquisitivemind7: also, be aware that TVIX is speculative unlike short leveraged etfs in that TVIX only pops if there is a crash. if we get a mild recession

    • inquisitivemind7: so by holding TVIX you are not predicting the market will go down, but you are predicting the market will crash. This is a fine distinction!
