ABOUT
My name is Derek Heckman and I am the portfolio manager and owner of Evergreen Portfolio Management, LLC. I began investing in the summer of 2006 and quickly became hooked when one of my first purchases, the USAA Precious Metals & Minerals fund, subsequently rose about 15% by December of that year.
I work full-time as an accounting & tax professional and manage Evergreen in my spare time. Some day I would like to publish Evergreen's trades for subscribers through a company like Covestor or to manage portfolios for other organizations.
