Great question Spike. We are going to teach you our signature trade during the workshop. The trade itself is so simple, we can teach your how to do it in 60 minutes. However, you need our tools to make it work.
"I thought you said no sales pitch?"
That's right. If you're blown away by what you see, we'll loan you our tools for a week. We will also spend some time in the coming week letting you watch us trade real money in real time. You can follow along, use our tools and see if you can do it too.
Use the contact info in the post above if you have any more questions.

No, this will be a Live Only Event. Please try to make it.
Purple Rain - Hate it when the doves cry.
Great take on a reality that we all need to face up to rather quickly. If anyone by chance, still has a HELOC with a favorable rate tied to Prime, get it locked into something else before it's too late.
Many of you may not be old enough to remember 18% interest on home mortgages. That'll make your dove cry.
Again, great commentary.

That's the beauty of the American Dream. I can build my version of it in the way that brings me peace and allows me to sleep like a baby. You and everyone else have the exact same opportunity.
America - I love this place.
And here it is.................
I heard. I'm always the last to hear. I pay big money for that.

Jeff,
Nice piece. I quoted you on our blog tonight under Tuesday's post. http://bit.ly/OyUksf You seem to have stirred up quite a bit of controversy here. How about dropping in on our radio show Friday or Monday for 15 minutes? Share your thoughts and stir us up a bit. We're live from 12noon - 2pm Eastern.
If you can make it shoot me an email, give me a call, or post it here.
Bring a topic or we'll pick one out of the hat...

ps/ To all the Jeff fans, we take questions live on the show.........
Actually I write my own headlines. Perhaps you are receiving preferential treatment or know someone on staff. I would like to hear from other authors as to whether or not they pen their own headlines.
Now you got me thinking and that hardly ever ends well....
3C,
Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to figure out what went wrong. I'm thinking Solar Flare..........
D
We will most likely discuss it on the radio show.
Read the article written today by The Economist as to why the Euro Crisis is far worse than Dr. Ben would have us believe.
Chris nailed it. Not much I can add to that.

The fact that anyone takes heed of numbers that are almost always "adjusted" at some later point has always befuddled me. Then again, it doesn't take much...
Our highest Weekly Trading Zone for the week was 1339/1340. http://bit.ly/ybWd00
You are correct 3C, once the majority gets long the market will get short. And once those longs get stopped out, the rally will resume. I'm a technical trader but it is difficult to overlook the history of markets in election years.
As for myself, I am suffering from electile dysfunction as no one in my party can get me aroused.
Have a great weekend!

There was a typo on the Point of Control. It should read - 1321.25.

RNT,
Drop by the show tomorrow and I'll show you how we do we it.

3 Cheese,
The Euro was down significantly today on their employment news. Standard & Poor’s/Case-Shiller home price index dealt hopes of recovery here at home a cruel and unusual blow. I concur with my co-host David and look for a low tonight if it's not already in and then a potential rally into our own employment numbers Thursday and Friday. If we break below 1300 overnight, scratch the rally fantasy.

If you are... wrong that is, we'll be wrong together. The Globex Open tonight looks pretty bearish so far.

Apple rumored to bid for Greece. New name to be iLand.
Mighty,
I'm guessing you were part of the Beta-Test which is now over. You should not be receiving any messages, if you do please let me know.

This kinda looks right to me - http://bit.ly/zNz6nS my Random friend.
Can I call you Randy?

Our initial call to be long Gold reaches back to the early days of CFRN in 2005. The year we first broke the airwaves we were pounding the desk about the danger of housing and the safety of Gold. When Gold hit $500/oz. we were quite pleased with ourselves. If it now wants to stay between $1600-$1800 'till I'm old and gray... that's OK. (wait - I am old and gray)

Thank you for your encouragement. Peace be with you.

I believe the next 60 days have the potential to test recent if not all time highs.
Reaper,
Well said - Thank you! We are a humble community of believers who trade for a living. It's our little corner of the world and we do our very best to brighten it each and every day. Our doors are open to all people from every walk of life who seek sanity and serenity amidst the madness of Wall Street. We've are now moving into our 7th year and quite frankly I can't imagine doing anything else.

We were going to go with Cheese Fondue Radio Network but that was already taken.
Hollywood,
Good catch. You're spot on.
Jack,
If you could, how would you fix it? Specifically...

RNT,
The short answer is yes. They work with Futures, Equities and Options as well. Drop by our Live Emini Trading Room between the hours of 9:30 -11:30am EST M-F and I'll show you exactly how they work.
They also adapt quite well to both intra-day charts as well as longer term Swing Trade charts.

Panning your own.......... Nice!
That's a story I think we would all like to hear more about.
Turk,
You are correct. However - you really should read the prospectus regarding the basket. I will do a follow up article in a few days.
Yes I do I have Gold stocks that I like very much. However, to maintain the integrity of this article and the ensuing discussion, they shall remain unnamed. As for any Gold ETF, even those who "audit" their inventories, the discrepancies that have arisen are grievous at best. We won't even touch duplicate serial numbers reported by multiple custodians.
When an ETF says they have invested your money in Gold, does that mean they bought physical Gold? Not necessarily. However, on the inventory audit it is completely acceptable to list that asset as physical Gold. As you walk through the mire of custodians and sub-custodians the water becomes more than muddy it literally becomes toxic. A deadly shell game at best.
Please be advised, as long as the sheeple are content owning the "idea" of Gold, it will be extremely difficult not only for the price of bullion to rise, but mining stocks as well. There will come a day however, when we the people will rise up and refuse to allow the wool to be pulled over our eyes. When that happens, the tide will come in and all boats will rise.
Now in all fairness to the ETF (as a trading vehicle) I will issue a Tweet from Seeking Alpha on GLD and IAU and by the close of business Friday we will all see whether or not we can close the position at a profit or loss of "real" dollars. An apocalypse withstanding, I'm certain we will.
Thank you all for the stimulating discussion. Keep it coming.
