I have been investing in Greek stock market since 2001 and I own a blog about it (Investorblog.gr) since 2007. My investing style is longterm and based in value investing and fundamentals. I do not take into account technical analysis. I can hold my position for years, but if conditions change or I have an early good performance, I have no problem to close my positions. I have received my MS'c degree in Economics from University of Peloponeese, Greece (Mark: 9.1 , 3d Rank)

An award winning analyst, Michael has a diverse financial background spanning buy- and sell-side equity research, private-equity fund management, and fund- of-hedge funds management.
Michael's research and investing emphasises three things: people, structure and value. He looks for companies that are controlled and managed by quality people, have corporate structures that align minority and majority shareholder interests and trade at valuations that are below intrinsic levels if not outright cheap. He invests globally from his Hong Kong base.
He first came to Asia as an exchange student in 1985 and has been involved with the region ever since, having lived and worked in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Singapore, for different companies including HSBC, the old Crosby Group and StoneWater Capital.
