I'm from MA and I graduated from Stonehill College with a BS in Biology. I took a class at Stonehill titled, "The Impact of News of Financial Markets," in which I presented a class project titled, "Analysis of Financial Contagion in South America Following Argentinian Default." After this I became confident about doing my own financial research. I'm interested now in investing in dividend growth stalwarts for retirement. In the future, if I do research (which will most likely be related to my own financial goals) that I think others would find interesting or useful, I will post it on Seeking Alpha.
I try to carefully trade weekly & monthly stock options with expertise in mining companies & traditional manufacturers. Speak & write fluent Portuguese and speak good Spanish. Resided twice in Brazil and once on Guam Island. Employed at the same large foreign-owned Distribution Center the past 15 years & completely 100% Pro-NAFTA. Smart individual investing is the preferred solution to improving one's economic future, as opposed to vast & vague government handouts. Seeking Alpha is the #1 best financial blog because of honest opinions & superb organization.
Hey I'm new to Seeking Alpha...a long time investor. I buy and hold only US and CAN stocks.

Old investor that keeps stocks for a long time. Some of my stocks have been in my portfolio for over 30 years. My latest investments were CVX and CAT. I loved Peter Lynch's comment, if you don't understand their business don't invest in their stock. My worst investment was Lucent, and I didn't understand their business. My best stock has been XOM, MMM, MCD, etc.
