A few years ago, I owned a successful business that burned to the ground and was underinsured. At about the same time, the 2008 stock debacle devastated my retirement account which I had entrusted to a broker. I fought back, rebuilt the business, took control of my retirement account, and have built a decent nest egg in the years since. I research stocks with a passion every day. I am determined to still retire comfortably.
