@greg.stanford: You are correct the math does not work. I pulled the 22 years from David Fish's Dividend Champions spreadsheet. Another of my sources shows 16 years of increase, which I believe is correct in this instance. Thanks for pointing this out.
@heglimp: Thanks for the kind words.

The article discusses what a REIT is then says:
"Below are three REITs yielding over 7% that have recently increased their cash dividends to shareholders:"
It then list 3 REITS: Hospitality Properties Trust (HPT), Select Income REIT (http://bit.ly/nbBtW4) and Senior Housing Properties Trust (http://bit.ly/oGJRNo).
It then says:
"Below are several other companies that have recently increased their cash dividends to shareholders:"
Then lists the companies you described above.
Again, sorry for the confusion.

Walgreen: Dividend Stock Analysis [View article]
"The above quantitative stock analysis, including the Star rating, is mechanically calculated and is based on historical information. The analysis assumes the stock will perform in the future as it has in the past. This is generally never true."
I find it better to have a set baseline calculation and then question the data that goes into the baseline calculation. In this case, I don't think WAG will be in a position to grow its dividend in the future as fast as it has in the past.
The yield is not a current yield, but a current "year" yield which includes dividends paid at lower levels prior to the current increase.

As for a weekly YouTube analysis, I am pretty stretched as it is now. I don't want to cut into my analysis time. :)

I don't spend much time on the P&L but focus my attention on the cash flow statement and balance sheet (too many "junk" accounting standards have made the P&L earnings questionable).
Generally, when a stock is in the position of ITW, it doesn't become a buy by dropping down to my price, but instead by increasing its dividend and dividend growth rate and raising my price.

I sometime forget other types of investors see this differently and trade more frequently. Here is a link that describes when I sell a stock:
