Innovation and Marketing drives the performance of companies. Apple has been good at it until now, but they could run out of steam. That's what I mean with not sustainable. Every company will face this point somewhere in lifetime.

But I agree with you all that Apple deserves a higher valuation, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that most fund managers have already a maximum weight on Apple and it is difficult to add positions at this point. Apple should urgently start to pay some dividend in order to attract new asset class investors and support stock price increases from here. But as long as they have enough growth to satisfy investors I think they will keep the "dividend wild card" for a weaker quarter publication.

To be honest yes I constructed reasons afterwards, but one reason kept with me from the beginning and that's the fact that Apple has grown and grown so fast and has become so big that I am even afraid that they can't withdraw their money from the bank without causing problems.
It's not that analysts don't like Apple, because most of them have a buy recommendation. It is just the fact that it has become so big, that you get scared that the growth story (double digit) will end in some years. What's quite normal for big companies.
