It's not a permanent gainer. Lost 30% on it's gain already (BID last).

"I know a lot of people left to join other companies where they would get current market price options instead of being so far underwater the stock wouldn't reach the option price in this lifetime."

I did some research on this topic, and one study showed no real statistical evidence that not repricing options drove employees away. One thing a company can do is simply issue new stock options in the money.

    Rob,

Yep, I was thinking about that jsut recently and the reason they want that is so if they need money, they can instantly drop the strike price, and receive the funds for the warrants--if the owners actually buy.

So let's say that Q1 next year, we see no movement by the company and they are nearly out of cash once again, and the price is 5 bucks. They can immediately set the strike at 4, and and gain 8-10M, while the warrant holders immediately sell off for a dollar profit, and the price tanks down to 4 bucks, and lower.

    Robb,

Hmmm no I think he isn't promising anything, really. He hasn't made one definitive statement that I can recall, except to make the NASDAQ. In fact, the company reminds me of a submarine running deep and silent.

True, but they are all equal in that they have gained 0 ability to raise funds.

"Much ado about nothing as the company is just getting starting with releases of data "

Of which 'data' do you refer? There is no data that hasn't already been released, and re-released, and re-presented. PW is spinning his wheels. What they need is new data, and that won't happen until after Phase II interim data, and that is most likely a full year out--if not more.

I concur with your range expectation, but I don't see anymore papers coming out on stale data that has been vetted for the last two years. I don't even think the company is ding much, if any R&D, currently-based on their last cash burn profile. Cash burn would be much higher, I suspect, if so.

    Robert,

In what way? Please link. I mean I can't even imagine what that warrant verbiage really means to OCAT or the warrant holders. From BioTech's article, all we know from his contact is that the verbiage isn't "standard." I doubt that it means they can raise it to $500 on demand.

    Ace,

So did many other companies doing cell research. Maybe they all want to be as close as they can to OCAT for a better jump on all the gold getting ready to pour out of it?

    Ace,

"For instance, the last JV was scuttled because they wanted too much." Really?

--That's an assumption, unless you have insider information, because I sure can't find that link.

"My point is that the science is there and unless that changes, institutional investors will show up."

--Sure, but in the mean time, how will OCAT survive w/o cash? That 28M is only going to last around 6-8 months. Longer, if they don't start Phase II, but no way longer than a year give or take.

"If someone wants in it will cost a boatload more for a JV as more results come in. "

--Seriously, it will be at least six months before data comes out from the point of the first injection. That means no information until January 2016 and that's if they injected today. No, we won't see any results until 2H 2016, and that's if they inject this quarter. That's a long way to go on 28M in Phase II.

"They have locked out most stem cell companies with their patents, unless you count the adult stem cells, which are proven inferior."

--Again, please link to a source that analyzes OCAT IP and comes to the conclusion that others are "locked out." IP locks out competition until it doesn't.

No disrespect meant, but without sources for your positions, you have a wall of assumptions.

It won't take that long for them to become insolvent, If they cannot get funded. I give them a year and they are done without cash. They may not file BK in a year, but it will just be a ride down on lower and lower share price and lower and lower dilution capital raises. I guess they could possibly dilute again past 1B shares, lurk in the OTC market for a few years, then file BK <shrug>. But for me, the end will be signified long, long before that--at least to me.

    It's looking dire for OCAT.

    Ace,

So just wondering, how much have you lost on OCAT with your superior knowledge? It's quite simple, regardless of how great their technology is. If they cannot get institutionally funded, they are done.

None of their last 6 months of presentation have done anything to move SP. It's not surprising, since Wotton simply rehashes old data. I wouldn't be surprised if no one showed up for this presentation--and why should they? There is no new information. Maybe if Wotton presents to himself, he'll get the picture?

The science is going nowhere for some unexplained reason. Lanza and others spent their entire lives developing this technology, yet today is it market-wise. . .worthless. As investors, that should tell us something.

I remember in a question and answer session, Steven Minger, Global Director for Research and Development for Cell Technologies at GE [General Electric] Healthcare, responding to a question if he knew about OCAT. He replied, "We know exactly what OCAT is doing and where they are with it."

That's it people. You ignore that you ignore your investment in this company. They know EXACTLY what OCAT is doing--yet zero economic interest in them.
