  • With AAPL's PE near historically average levels, is it time to buy?
    I just checked AAPL's P/E today and it was around 15.5. I understand AAPL's growth will have to slow eventually do to the law of diminishing returns.. but now that its PE is in line with the historical average of the S&P 500 (around 15), I have to wonder if now is a good time to buy.
    There is still strong earnings growth here and even with Jobs gone AAPL still has products which dominate its marketplace all over the world. Even if just for a few more years.  Is now a good time to start looking at AAPL?

  • Deju vu anyone?
    So I remember right about this time last year the market started heading into a correction over summer. Something I expected with the end of QE2 and the end of a very nice market rally.
    A lot of the reasons attributed to market "trouble" seem to be the same. Greece debts woes?  I remember reading articles on exactly this topic.  Now the markets fall from the "fear" of their debt woes. 
    Hey, GS is also in trouble again.  About what? They're involvement with the financial crisis.  They shorted housing!  Anyway I guess the more things change the more they stay the same.
