thanks for the comment... when I have time to really dig in i will. as far as CEO vision, i liked Nardelli's vision better. i think he had a firm grasp as to what HD needed to do to grow long-term. But his arrogance (and greed regarding his pay) was his downfall. his vision just needed time to work itself out.
as for the new direction, i think the current plan is the best way to go. i also like the recently announced incentive for the assistant managers, especially as it is complimented with the equity appreciation from the buyback. so far Blake has done good (especially for stock holders).
