    The ruble is not pegged to the US dollar. There is a basket that the Russian Central Bank maintains, which is heavily weighted with the Euro.

    Chinstrap, bad, bad typo. Naturally this should be GXG we're talking about here.

    Burnintoo, that's what we get for not making a clear distinction between "shares" and ADRs. That R$2 per share in Brazil may be the equivalent of $0.98 in dollars, but you're right -- keeping it in ADR terms keeps it cleaner.

    Sure, the intent is to highlight the progress these stocks have made with an eye on opportunities on a pullback. Shorting the ILF seems to be the only way to play downward move; but once again, really about what banking opportunities to keep an eye on in Argentina.

    Toyota is simply raising their expectation of the anticipated Yen pricing against the US Dollar. On Yen direction, this would appear to be an indication for more strength. On Toyota profits, the higher currency costs would appear to increase costs of delivery overseas.
