I'm all for self-sustaining communities. Where work is actually worth what you put into it. Instead of getting lucky or being manipulative. (But I'll still trade stocks or futures so long as the opportunity is there hehe).
I prefer mixing TA and fundamentals in my trading style, usually using TA to look for potential candidates to buy and then checking those potential candidates fundamentally to check for any red flags. However, I don't believe fundamental analysis can be relied upon completely because fundamentals of a company are not linear and you will never know when the company suddenly posts a negative earnings surprise. In TA I use a variety of tools and signals, and I also use Elliott wave which is ...More useful for confirmation of other signals or identifying the most likely scenario. I don't trust my wave counts heavily, because I'm certainly no expert Elliott wave analyst and so I just use it in conjunction with my other TA/fundamentals.
