I try to carefully trade weekly & monthly stock options with expertise in mining companies & traditional manufacturers. Speak & write fluent Portuguese and speak good Spanish. Resided twice in Brazil and once on Guam Island. Employed at the same large foreign-owned Distribution Center the past 15 years & completely 100% Pro-NAFTA. Smart individual investing is the preferred solution to improving one's economic future, as opposed to vast & vague government handouts. Seeking Alpha is the #1 best financial blog because of honest opinions & superb organization.
I spent my youth growing up on a farm in western North Dakota and graduated from NDSU. After graduation, I entered the USAF through ROTC and spent 20 years in the Air Force, mostly as a meteorologist. I graduated from the US Naval Post Graduate School with a M.S. in Meteorology. I also am a CFP, but do not work in the industry. I am an investor and trader -- lots of similarities between trading markets and meteorology. You are trying to determine the future.
Jim McCraigh is a former commercial banker whose interest in finance and economics began in the early 1970's while still working at the bank. Jim studied the economics of money and banking while in graduate school at Northern Illinois University when a dollar was worth a whole lot more than it is today!

Individual investor with particular interest in any company that is on the cusp of change--for the better. These companies will have at least several attributes in common: They are underfollowed; underappreciated; have a clear, stated strategy for driving profits; management and BOD are perfectly aligned with common shareholders; management team and BOD with a track record of rewarding shareholders; and have near-term catalysts that will have meaningful impact on the business. Simple, right?
My real name is Frederick Bruckman. ("Paimon" is depicted in the Ars Goetia as a "King of Hell" and expert in the mysteries of the mind--but is also a truly awful pun.) I've completed a B.A. in Economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, "class of 2013" (enrolled 1989-2012!). I try to buy stocks that are making new highs.
