  • Lessons from the Volatility Shock of 2008 [View article]
    I'd be interested in your thoughts on selling options at current levels. I've had a rolling covered call strategy w Apple and I've been selling credit spreads on Google as outlined here and the strategies are working out well, delivering over $1000 per rolled position, but I'm not getting the premiums I was during the spike obviously.

    My next thought is to perhaps start selling some puts here and there. Worst case if exercised, you're picking up shares at a healthy discount to present values (as long as you're not catching a falling knife and testing new lows!).
