    This is an interesting article, because like the author I also believe in global warming. I believe in it because I don't give a ______ about it, and by saying that I believe in it I avoid having to talk to ignoramuses. Of course, bigger fools are working the other side of the street.

    Cap and trade; Waxman-Markey. What next? There was some nonsense about General Petraeus in the Financial Times today, and they forgot to mention that only a clown would wear ribbons up to his shoulder blades, especially when none of them are for combat.

    I wonder what is on Oprah tomorrow?

    Beautiful, I don't know about Spain, but nobody is going to convince me that wind in Denmark and Germany has a brilliant future. In fact, Ms Merkel is one of the most enthusiastic nuclear supporters.

    What wind has done is to make electricity in Denmark about the most expensive in the industrial world. Even if you don't read Danish you can find somebody important who will tell you that. As for the wind ambitions of Mr Pickens, the last I heard was that his project was going off the rails because he had a problem finding chumps to put up the billions that it will cost.
