    This is a valuable article. It will come in handy if I decide that the world needs another article on oil by my good self. I must admit however that I feel the same way as dybydx above. Furthermore, OPEC doesn't want US oil companies fooling around on their turf, because despite what some people seem to belief, they do NOT need any technical assistance from those companies. A deal with Russia however should not be excluded, assuming that the US government remembers that the Cold War is over, and Russia is an indipendent country with its own government and culture..
