A Sad Day for Newspapers

As far as bias and low quality is concerned, well that was exactly the reason why I cancelled two subscriptions in the last year. If you can't trust them on an issue you have knowledge because of obviously biased reporting there's no way you can trust them on an issue you have little knowledge on.
Furthermore, whilst I would pay for content on finance, I'd hesitate to pay for content on politics for the simple reason that the information on finance has an obvious monetary benefit to it, whilst the information on politics isn't really that essential. I enjoy reading the columns on the NY website but there's no way I'd pay for them.
