After my last article, I had the "aha" moment for JNJ, KMB, PG, et al. Pulled the trigger today on JNJ at $64. Maybe I should be "3 plus"?

    • golfitobob: KMB & PG o/k JNJ got problems. Name brand stuff being avoided in bad economies an baby shampoo carcinogens.. Where does that go

    • neobliviscar: If buying, maybe you should have waited for the almost inevitable pullback to the $62.50 options strike. JNJ a magnate to options prices.

    • Five Plus Investor: Stefan, see my last article. Neo, sorry, not an options trader. Thinking *very* long term, 10 years from now, dividend income stream.

    • Stefan Radacovsky: FPI-OLD, I went through your comments and read the article. I'm intrigued what was really the AHA there.

    • Five Plus Investor: How much reinvestment required on fixed income to keep up with inflation. I'm heavy fixed income. It's my "aha" that may not apply to all.

    • golfitobob: what about a 9% dollar loss 2 add to inflation ? And,Fed plans 4 more destruction. That is clearly the plan & he preys for inflation 2.divs ?

    • neobliviscar: Five Plus: I've position traded JNJ for 13 years. What I posted has little to do with U or I trading options. You bought too high and early.

    • Five Plus Investor: If I took a full position I'd be worried. Just a nibble. I'm pretty nimble, I'll get out if it takes a real nosedive. Wow. Tough crowd!

    • golfitobob: As Dr Larry Summers just made the recent quote of the decade !" If you don't know tout long term " Yes tough crowd ! Tight stop. Sorry lol

    • neobliviscar: Not tough. Just straight talk. 13 years means I have been wrong a few times. I am a bit surprised by today's climb back over +100 DJIA

    • Mutinousdogs: I think you do fine with JNJ at 64. I recently bought some more in that same range. :)

    • SBDrive: Too many mistakes at J&J recently for me to invest. Of course, why should I worry about law suits - I own MO.
