COMPANY
SUB~ROSA CAPITAL, L.L.C. SUB ROSA CAPITAL is an independent, fee based registered investment advisory firm that assists private high net worth individuals preserve and grow capital. We engage in the trading of securities on behalf of our clients.
The term SUB~ROSA comes from Latin, literally translated means "under the rose". The ...More
rose has an ancient association with confidentiality and secrecy. Hence the ceilings of ancient Roman banquet rooms were decorated with roses to remind guests that what was spoken sub vino was also sub rosa. More recently "sub rosa" activities have become a byword for covert operations within the military and intelligence communities.
We at SUB~ROSA CAPITAL have reasoned that price action is difficult if not impossible to understand, if viewed as anything other than a manipulation. We firmly believe that everything on the floor of the exchange (including flash crashes etc.) happens on purpose. It is a well orchestrated supremely executed merchandising operation surreptitious in nature. We further believe that those who are unwilling to view the market from a slightly different paradigm will be ardently wishing for success in lieu of seriously experiencing it.
We have found that people in general and investors in particular should be leery of becoming too comfortable in their mind sets. One must have the discipline and forbearance to resist evaluating and processing newly acquired information through the biased prism of an existing analytical model. New information should be used to re-assess the premise of the model itself. If there is anything that can be said about mind sets it is: they are quick to form, hard to change and the longer they are established the harder they are to change.
The problem with a well planned and properly executed deception operation is that one does not see evidence of it easily. Nevertheless, the possibility of deception should never be overlooked. Additionally, when experts fall victim to the traps set by exchange insiders, the effects can be aggravated by the confidence that attaches itself to expertise.
Even those who are actuated by upright intentions are incapable of doing anything to effect change on Wall Street. Since we are not crusaders who intend to rage against the machine, there remains for us (or anyone else for that matter) but one alternative which is to capitalize on it. We suspect it is possible to make money because of the way the enterprise is structured not in spite of it.
Inasmuch as it is highly unlikely that anyone not directly connected to exchange insiders could ever attain the goodwill of those powers; then perhaps it is more prudent to implement their relative superiority and skillful concentration of force as a tool in one’s own trading strategies.
Over the years we have utilized conventional strategies, researched and developed proprietary unconventional strategies from a Tradecraft perspective and found a correlation between certain events and price movement. This information is critically important in determining the direction and force of the market in general as well as individual issues in particular.
Parenthetically, it must be pointed out that whatever the complexities of the solutions developed to solve problems and whatever the sophisticated techniques used to collect the pieces and store them, there is never a time when the judgment of man can be displaced as the supreme governing device.
Keeping true to the name, SUB~ROSA CAPITAL Clients are strongly urged to maintain the highest levels of security.
