A Long-Term Investor's Case For Jones Lang LaSalle
mds5375 - JLL's total real estate services revenue from EMEA was up 12% in 2012. In their global macro report early this year, they mentioned that Europe performed better than expected in Q4, especially in terms of volume. However, the debt market challenges have a constraining effect on the market. (Basel III postponement may turn out to be a positive). They expect the recovery phase of the cycle to continue in 2013. So, it is a mixed bag in Europe.
If the market condition deteriorates further in Europe, JLL will probably feel the pain. But, as you mentioned, given their diversified portfolio, I don't anticipate that to be major problem for long term investors.
