You are stupid or else. When an account is compromissed they will block it. You will have to call them and they will do a security check with questions and stuff. They will rest the account, and they will give you a free token. Meanwhile you wait for the token you still are able to access your account with the regular log in.

After you receive the token you have to activate it and the log in with the code.
This happened to me once because I logged to my account from a computer in a Apple store.

Bitch all you want and question anyone's motives, but hedge funds, mutual funds, banks, Fannie and Freddie and all the rest of the giant sucking sound of finance is not going away. They all serve the purpose of passing risk around to one another until the music stops.

Of course, the music never stops in Congress, which is busy passing all of it along to the US taxpayer, who is the risk-receiver of last resort.

Poor dumb Joe six-pack hasn't got a clue as to why gas is $4.00 to fire up that monster pick-up, the bass boat, the motorcycle, the snowmobile, etc. or why his 401-k is bleeding dollars. ]]>

See my previous posts on this thread. I agree with you, and think the winner of the bid will be someone other than BBI. My guess is a hedge fund that sees value in lease commitments on underperforming stores in good locations (refer to CompUsa's sale of 17 leases to BBY for reference). If BBI won out, they'd be less willing to jettison stores that don't perform. A hedge fund wouldn't have that limitation, in my view. Just close the ones that don't perform, sell off unnecessary assets (like the InterTan division, that hasn't done anything for years) and move on with life.

Either way, Schoonover needs to clean out his office.]]>

With Blockbuster coming out with a public bid, it was time to either fish or cut bait for all other potential suitors. Within a month, we can probably expect to see the sale of Circuit City, porbably at a distress price.

Circuit City may have several bidders

Cash on hand has been steadily shrinking, and chances are good that the company will start tapping its credit line to fund inventory purchases and store remodels.

Same store sales were off 7% in the 4th quarter, 11% for the full year.

Every product category showed YoY sales decreases. The only domestic bright spot was Firedog, that had good growth. It wasn't enough to offset weakness in product sales, though.

Interesting to me is the fact that despite all the posturing, the 'turnaround' strategy has accelerated this company's downward trends.

Buyout is imminent, in my view.]]>

Can you name one? Even a guess will do.

Do you know the store/real estate breakdown? Have you looked at the free cash flow, balance sheet and debt structure etc.?

Enlighten us please!

American Royalty Trusts are a good possible alternative to the Canadian trusts; however there is a smaller selection of trusts available.

TELOZ is clearly a high yield leader, but may faces challenges if the natural gas yield declines. The gas production decreased at Ship Shoal 182/183; and other fields may be at risk. The pricing trend for natural gas is also not favorable; the average price received for natural gas decreasing to $6.46 per Mcf in the fourth quarter of 2007 compared to $7.78 per Mcf received in the third quarter of 2007.

The yield in oil only increased by 6% between the 3rd and 4th quarters with most of the profit associated with increasing oil prices. This increase in yield may not drive increasing pay outs for the trust.

The 15% may be a peak and the trust may have to reduce the payout level in the future depending on their asset performance.
