Greg Skidmore is the Founder, President, and Chief Investment Officer of Belpointe Asset Management. In 1997, Greg began training for the Olympics in sailing. He ultimately became the top ranked American in the world in the Finn Class and a member of the US Sailing Team. After his Olympic endeavors, Greg joined his father at Advest, Inc (regional brokerage firm) in New York City. He spent time there in Equity Research and Institutional Sales, developing a foundation for analyzing investments. Following his career at Advest, he joined Smith Barney as a Financial Advisor in their Private Client division. He quickly moved up the ranks, joining one of the premier private wealth management teams within Citigroup, the parent company of Smith Barney. Greg graduated from Connecticut College in 1999 with a BA in Economics and History. He recently completed the SACRS UC Berkeley Haas School of Finance Public Pension Investment Management Program of 2007. He has passed the series 7, 63 and 65 securities exams.
Herve van Caloen, a managing partner at Belpointe Asset Management, is an investor with more than 30 years of experience managing international equity portfolios for Scudder, Mitchell Hutchins, Provident Capital Management. He is currently a portfolio manager at Belpointe Asset Management in Greenwich, CT. He also publishes The Caloen International Report that focuses on international investment topics.
David Nelson, CFA is the Chief Strategist of Belpointe Asset Management. The members of his firm, DC Nelson Asset Management LLC (DC Nelson), recently merged into Belpointe. Chris is responsible for overseeing investment advice given to clients of Belpointe Asset Management. His specialty niche focuses on using options to hedge risk and enhance returns, and more opaque fixed income alternatives.
Chris began his career in finances in fixed income institutional sales at UBS. While at UBS he transitioned to the Private Client Group in Stamford, Connecticut, where he was responsible for managing the finances of successful individuals, families, and institutions. He resigned from UBS in March 2009 to join Belpointe Asset Management.
Prior to joining UBS, Chris was a National Account Manager for Lexmark International. He was based out of Washington, DC, and was responsible for sales to Federal entities, including the Department of the Navy, the Executive Office of the President, the US Congress, NRO, DIA, and the NSA.
Chris started his professional career at Los Angeles Air Force Base. As an officer, he led the team responsible for researching and designing rocket technologies for the next generation of space launch vehicles.
In his personal time he enjoys backpacking, camping, skiing,and reading - mostly science and history.
Chris is a 1993 graduate of the US Air Force Academy, where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He also received a Masters of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California in 1998. He has passed the NASD Series 7 and Series 66 exams. Chris is currently licensed as an investment advisor representative.

Andrew Corn is the Chief Investment Officer of E5A Funds LLC, a firm specializing in alternative investments. E5A is best known for its global investment process.
Until June 2010 Corn was Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer - Equities of the Beacon Trust Company. Mr. Corn ran the firm’s equity investment team managing three long only strategies and in 2008/9 a long/short fund. He also served on the firm’s senior management team.
Mr. Corn was also responsible for Beacon Indexes which publishes three indexes tracked by ETFs.
Prior to joining Beacon Trust Company, Corn was the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Clear Asset Management. He developed the vision and premise of the firm's investment process, multifactor models, and trading strategy. Corn was named Emerging Manager of the Year for Equities in 2007 by Opal Financial Group and “Portfolio Manager of the Month” of March 2007 in Investor’s Business Daily. During this time he also founded Clear Indexes LLC which developed custom indexes for packaged products such as ETFs and custom institutional benchmarks. He has participated in bell ringing for seven ETFs. Mr. Corn also established a popular index and portfolio design contest with 14 leading Universities. Both firms were sold to Beacon Trust in 2008.
Until May 2004, he was SVP of TheStreet.com and SVP of its institutional broker-dealer subsidiary, Independent Research Group.
Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Citigate, Inc. From 1989 until 2000, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Admaster Communications, a specialty financial communications firm, and MasterApproach, an investment industry focused consultant and software developer. Both were sold in 2001 to Citigate. As CEO, Mr. Corn consulted on product development and marketing for institutional money managers, mutual funds, hedge funds, investment banks, pension consultants, and brokerages. He also wrote and/or designed and produced hundreds of analyst presentations, IPO road shows and M&A announcements. Through this process he worked with CEOs, CFOs, research analysts, venture capitalists, investment bankers across sectors and market caps and gained his initial perspective on analyzing public companies. He also co-founded and sold a magazine publishing firm as well as a custom applications and web solutions firm.
