The Bullish Case For Undervalued GM [View article]
Both your comments reflect an interesting situation of the demand and supply in stock market. If many investors won't buy a stock not for value reasons but for principles, the stock tend to go undervalued. I believe this is part of the reasons why GM stock gotta beaten down so much.
Research In Motion's Stock Price Provides A Margin Of Safety And Upside [View article]
I do not agree with this assessment at all. You cannot evaluate a stock without examining its business. With strong competition from both Apple and Android manufacturers, and no real new product from itself, RIMM's margin is a falling knife. It will go down further. Its EV/EBITDA ratio may even dip into negative territory soon. Typical value trap.
3 Highly Risky Stocks With Explosive Upside [View article]
Some of these make absolutely no sense. For example, "Given that the company has pricing power on the Strip, it also is safer than casino peer MGM Resorts (MGM)". What do you mean by pricing power on the Strip? LVS and MGM are not that different on the Strip. If anything, MGM is a bigger player in Las Vegas. The only thing that makes LVS several times bigger than MGM is its presence in Asia, which accounts for majority of LVS's earnings.
GM post bankruptcy has a MUCH STRONGER balance sheet. Anyone who picks F over GM has a lot of explanations to do. There is zero justification here.
Many Reasons To Be Bullish On Ford Right Now [View article]
It makes no sense. GM after the bailout has a MUCH stronger balance sheet, equal pricing power and slightly larger market share. The case for Ford means more of a case for GM. GM is obviously a better investment choice.
Why I'd Sell Overpriced Chipotle To Buy Apple [View article]
What a terrible article. Apple's business holds a very high fixed R&D cost, while it is super scalable if the product is successful. Chipotle's major expansion came from opening new restaurants. CMG is clearly way way over valued, but what the heck does it have anything to do with Apple?

RenRen: 'China's Facebook' Is Finally a Bargain [View article]
RENN may not even survive eventually. Chinese users are very mobile and have very small switching cost. A bigger portal like Sina, Sohu or Bidu will eventually kill it. Even if they eventually absorb it, they will not pay $2.xB for RENN. We should see $3.xx before the lockup period ends.

UA's major barrier of a buyout is the owner, who holds about 70% of the voting rights. It's unlikely that Kevin Plank will sell his baby now for anything short of $5B. The long term prospect of UA is brilliant: it could be a 10 bagger in 10 years.
