  • Forget the FOMC staff, Warren Buffett downgrades his view of the U.S. economy, telling CNBC there's been a clear slowdown in the last 6 weeks, though giving no detail as to what he's personally seeing. It's the most pessimistic The Oracle has sounded in some time. As for Europe, it's slipping "pretty fast."  [View news story]
You people have the capacity to turn every single economic and financial issue into politics. The comments here are so incredibly political. Pathetic guys.

  • Why RIM Is Dropping Like A Rock [View article]
@midnight, accusing certain people "criminal" is a very serious allegation. I certainly would not make such claims without any evidence, not to mention "full of".

You sound like one pissed-off RIM bagholder without much idea about how the stock market works. My sincrere good luck to you.

  • Told You So: RIM's Warning And Path To Demise [View article]
LOL @ RIM's inventory. You mean those outdated phones that cost $400 to produce and can sell for $50 are worth anything?

  • Lumia 900 Appears A Winner, For Now [View article]
Good point. Most of the reviewers stated that they bought locally from pre-sales at AT&T. But I really think it matters less than the fact that Lumia 900 currently occupies the top 2 mobile phone bestseller spots at Amazon. If this continues for a week or even a month. Nokia would be selling more than 1 million L900's a month.

  • Told You So: RIM's Warning And Path To Demise [View article]
This acquisition dream has been looming since RIM was still in the high teens. Who cares if RIM is bought when it's already below $5? I'd claim victory and laugh at the fool who bought it -- likely a big company that can afford to piss away a couple of billion dollars with no consequence (e.g., HP bought Palm).

I find it interesting that people who couldn’t spell China 10 years ago are now experts on China.

  • Apple's Pricing Power? Questionable [View article]
Wow, Apple's winning weapon is economy of scale now? Not its "ecosystem"? Ford must have been the best potential mobile phone and tablet producer in the world.

Don't worry, if it's a good company as you believe, the market will treat it nicely when it can show us something exciting. The market has no hidden agenda. It's in it to make money, not to trash companies.

  • Fast Food And Tobacco: A Tale Of 2 Dividend Stocks [View article]
With 30 stocks, one might well buy the S&P 500 index and stop following the stock market. I firmly believe Peter Lynch's point that diversification is more like diworsification. It's basically a watering down of high performance picks with mediocre ones. A good portfolio for a small investor shall not contain more than 10 carefully selected stocks.

These people, no matter which side of the aisle you are on about immigration, are not the problems of our economy. Outsourcing is. Please don't poison every economic topic with partisan politics.

  • Great Buying Opportunity: Signals Of A Full Economic Recovery [View article]
Look, I have no interest in a polical argument here. The central bank has done a fanstastic job to ensure liquidity in the economy. If you don't even understand that, we really have nothing to argue about here.
