Actually, I believe PBR owns Schlitz now. I had a statistics professor back in 2007 who would always make jokes about drinking Schlitz. You could actually buy a six pack for about $7 down in some grocery stores in Chapel Hill, NC. That was 2007.
Now, hipsters are paying mucho dollars for a Schlitz in bars all over DC. How quickly things can change in 2 years.

Sorry - meant to say a 12 pack. You could essentially buy a 12-pack of Schlitz for the same price you could buy a 6-pack of most beers.
