    A lot of these stem cell research companies are suckers' bets. Investors often have very little understanding of the inner workings of biotechnology companies. For most of these outfits, it could be longer than a decade before they could even have a marketable product out. Even then, it's no guaranteed success. STEM and GERN are two of the worst of the bunch IMO. People are buying in based on nothing other than mindless speculation and blind optimism. Buyer beware.
