I have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rutgers & working on my Master's from Harvard. My interests lie principally in Contrarian Investing. I was long on Sprint(S) when majority of Analysts had sell rating at around 2 dollar PPS to see it rebound to 7+ level and sell. Sprint was best performer in S&P 500 last year and second in year before. When I am not taking Contrarian Position on Long Plays, I am going with trend with Swing Trading on Short Term Plays. My favorite strategies. 1. Price and Volume is all you need, everything else is noise 2. Follow the volume in and follow the volume out. 3. Respect stops. 4. Throw hope out the window and trade to a plan 5. Never chase a stock, instead let trade come to you.
I am a value-oriented investor who buys for the long-term. My areas of interest and expertise include banking, biotechnology, and tech, but I seek out and act upon value in any sector or asset class in which I see it. I have outperformed the S&P 500 every year I've been in the market but I hope to keep improving as an investor.
