I am a full-time college student that has always had interest in the stock market. My uncle initially got me involved several years ago and I have continued watching the stock market and a little profit here and there. I graduate in May and I hope to really get involved and become more knowledgable about the stock market. I still find it very complex, but I am willing to do my homework and become educated over time. As for me I live in Kansas and am married with no kids, and after I graduate and take boards I hope to buy a dog…or two.
I try to carefully trade weekly & monthly stock options with expertise in mining companies & traditional manufacturers. Speak & write fluent Portuguese and speak good Spanish. Resided twice in Brazil and once on Guam Island. Employed at the same large foreign-owned Distribution Center the past 15 years & completely 100% Pro-NAFTA. Smart individual investing is the preferred solution to improving one's economic future, as opposed to vast & vague government handouts. Seeking Alpha is the #1 best financial blog because of honest opinions & superb organization.
My trading interest is mostly on using option hedge through binary earning events with very small capital to reach 2 to 10 bagger earning within a short period of time, often a matter of days. A typical scenario is to invest less than $300 into 2 OTM contracts with a goal of earning $1000+ in one day, which I have successfully executed many times.
My knowledge for option trading mainly comes from my own trades in the past 2 years, and reading, experimenting different strategies. I have mostly tried buying calls, puts, straddles, occasionally selling covered calls. There are many great authors on SA from whom I have learnt a great deal, check out who I follow and you will see what I mean.
Personally, I have not published any article yet as trading remains a casual hobby for me. I have about 8 years undergraduate/graduate work in the engineering and mathematics fields, with 10+ years working experiences in the startup world.

Self directed investor. I run my own investments via an online brokerage account and have been building retirement savings for many years at a brokerage house. Focused on investing carefully with an eye to total return (including return of principal) and proper asset allocation based on input from the writings of the many knowledgable writers on SA. Pimarily investing in non-taxable retirement accounts and always looking for both value (low PE/G ratio) and how to avoid or offset undue risks. That said, I am open to GARP, Dividend Growth, International, and contrarian investment approaches. Working towards a more concentrated portfolio over time to enhance returns. Some day I may write on SA.
I am a 30 year old with a full time job working for state government. I am interested in retirement and dividend investing. I became interested in investing and personal finance following graduation from Graduate School where I earned an M.A. in Psychological Counseling. I learned about the concept of compounding in my early 20's and began contributing to a ROTH IRA at 23 and have continued to do so at the maximum amount.
I dabbled in Penny Stocks when I younger and while I did not lose money, it became clear to me that long term I could not be successful with such limited information regarding those companies.
I am a Dividend Growth Investor with interests in Small to Large Cap stocks. I hope to share and discuss my retirement moves, as well as my thoughts on current market conditions.
