I have been an investor in several stock exchanges around the globe for the last 16 years. My trading philosophy is to be ahead of the curve of demand. I strongly believe that diligence and patience are fundamental to stock market success. I attained my MBA from the Keio Business School and have worked in the field of international business consulting for the last 12 years. My job has allowed me to travel the world, which gives me great joy, as it combines my two passions, to visit new places and finance.
I try to carefully trade weekly & monthly stock options with expertise in mining companies & traditional manufacturers. Speak & write fluent Portuguese and speak good Spanish. Resided twice in Brazil and once on Guam Island. Employed at the same large foreign-owned Distribution Center the past 15 years & completely 100% Pro-NAFTA. Smart individual investing is the preferred solution to improving one's economic future, as opposed to vast & vague government handouts. Seeking Alpha is the #1 best financial blog because of honest opinions & superb organization.
This is a pseudonym. Started my career in structured finance, moved into corporate debt, and now equities. My investment style is focus on the fundamentals and figure out what the company is worth. Writing is a way for me to gather feedback and information, rather than convincing someone else to buy or sell. Please feel free to message me. thanks

I have been an economics and finance professor for the past 25 years at Kalamazoo College, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I invest only for my personal account as a part-time investor. My bachelors degree is in economics from Kalamazoo College. My masters degree, MBA, is in general management from Dartmouth College, and my doctorate is in finance from Nova Southeastern University.
Although my passion is real assets, I often use the markets as proxy investments for real asset plays or to hedge real asset plays. With regard to financial assets, my investing activity is limited to predominately domestic value oriented stocks.
I live full time in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
I began investing in 1987. My first four investments were Budweiser, American Barrick (ABX), MCI Communication and General Dynamics. Not bad for a newbie. I'm a buy and homework type of guy. In the Jim Cramer vein. My key area's of interest are Tech, Biotech, Energy, Financials and commodities. I run my own money, eat my own cooking & I don't take prisoners'.
I am an ex banker ( in my late 20's) who recently started venture capital fund (USD 10 Mm) fund with three other partners. We basically look at small and up coming companies in the health sector, agricultural sector, education, food, and IT sector.
My investment strategy is the following:
20% in stocks
20 % in Properties
20 % in bonds
40% cash (Save it for a great opportunity)
Regarding my stock strategy:
1. I look to invest 70% into dividend stocks that yield around 3%.
2. 30% into growth speculation stocks.
