    I think the broad diversification mitigates many of the issues that you have noted. However, I invest in individual munis and corporates and yes, there are many issues to deal with. I would recommend to try to read the prospectus and filing notices. Even the balance sheets of the entities offering the bonds.

    Yes and that the underlying issurers will have trouble repaying their debt. Plus, these funds are leveraged so it amplifies their troubles.
