You're right. We pondered this one for a long time. However, given its enduring operating history the company has done well and has sufficient internal controls so that even an awful CEO and board could not destroy the company.

Thank you for your comments. For any number of reasons individual traders and authors who contribute to investment underground don't own the stocks mentioned in an article. Often, they just hold cash, which explains why there may be "no position" as was the case here.
We still believe that cash returned through shareholders is a great way to build wealth, and you can't receive dividends (usually) if you don't own shares.
