We cannot default like Greece simply because we can print away our debts.

  • Simple Portfolio Building: Aggressive Growth [View article]
given the historic lows on bonds, and the decades-long bull market in them, using the 20 yr bond doesn't seem like a good idea.

I'd go with a lower duration bond ETF.

In your Disclosure line, you said you're planning to swap your O equity for that of NNN.
Does that mean NNN is a better value than O? That contradicts the line before it.

  • Profiting From The Euro's Collapse And Looming Inflation [View article]
Inflation is not guaranteed, which is why you should still practice investment discipline of buying great companies at great valuations. (and proper portfolio allocation, among other things). That's why I'm waiting for MA to get cheaper before entering a long position.

  • The Flaw in Google's Business Model: Site Scrapers [View article]
Google's business model doesn't seem to be flawed - it's just their search engine algorithm that is annoying content producers.

The search engine is still linking to quality content (since your content is very high quality!), only it's not helping drive traffic to your site.

You might want to spend some resources on improving the SEO of your website. You'll probably get more out of it.

Incidentally, seeking alpha also scraps feeds (with permission of course) and has the decency to leave in all the links as well.

  • Google Still Undervalued [View article]
Yes, that true for many large cap tech stocks today. They're selling for ridiculously cheap valuations.

It's hard to believe people would pay 600 times earnings for a LinkedIn, and not even 20 for Google.

My portfolio has become rather tech heavy this year, with Intel, Cisco and Vodafone. But that's where the value lies. Although I bought VOD around $22 a year ago - seekingalpha.com/artic...
