    • TruffelPig: I sold my $COH position at $59. Not getting back in. Not this year.

    • J Mintzmyer: $ARO was a stinker- should have bailed at $18 last year (bought at $20 the year before) but emotions got the better of me. Finally let go.

    • TruffelPig: I am not into these hot brands.....once they get cold they start really stinking. And you never know when.
      2/27/13
    • TruffelPig: I am careful with COH because I think KORS is winning there. Not that COH is a bad company.
      2/27/13
    • J Mintzmyer: $KORS isn't winning anything--- yet. In a fickle fashion biz I'd rather have an established brand. Even if they lose edge, still solid name.
      2/27/13
    • J Mintzmyer: $KORS had 42% the sales of $COH last quarter-- 27% last year. 15% of the profits. Momentum is there, but EVERYONE won't shut up about $KORS

    • J Mintzmyer: "winning the fashion game." If that's not a short indicator idk what is. I don't trust any analyst on fashion.
      2/27/13
    • J Mintzmyer: If you think $COH is $RIMM/$AAPL bad, idk. Way I see it, $COH has lost some 'prestige' with their pricing game. $KORS will do the same.
      2/27/13
    • TruffelPig: COH isn't "in" right now. That is all. Good company but not hipp.
      2/27/13
    • J Mintzmyer: You're right Truffel. It's all a guessing game at this point and $COH has a lot more long-term momentum and base. $KORS has dominated the

    • J Mintzmyer: 1-2y momentum. Does $COH have $NKE staying power (remember $UA was MUCH more 'in' then Nike too at many points), or is it a 1-off brand?
      2/27/13
    • J Mintzmyer: The reason $COH has fallen out a bit is their push to expand revenues. Broadening the base hurts the name. $KORS is trying to broaden too.
      2/27/13
    • J Mintzmyer: $ANF tried to broaden the (teen fashion) base a few years ago-- didn't end well for them. $ANF is a very established name. $KORS isn't.

    • J Mintzmyer: Founder has sold over 70% of his holdings-- I don't think he believes in long-term growth.
      2/27/13
    • J Mintzmyer: Overall, I'm more of a $KORS bear than a $COH bull, but the latter is established and the stock is primarily hurting because of $KORS.
      2/27/13
    • TruffelPig: KORS is HOT right now. COH is investing in the future this year. They said so themselves.
      2/27/13
    • TruffelPig: I sold because its the same as with AAPL - all depends on the margin and brand name.
      2/27/13
    • J Mintzmyer: I have too much capital tied in a long-term $AMZN, $LNKD short and recent $NFLX short to short $KORS. First 3 have more % to fall near-term.
      2/27/13
    • TruffelPig: In general I am not into such things anymore. Only dividend game or spec game in my portfolio.
      2/27/13
    • J Mintzmyer: Might take mkt 1-2 yrs to realize $KORS will stall out. It took $CMG a long-time to correct, and it arguably still hasn't. $WFM too ($LULU?)
      2/27/13
    • TruffelPig: KORS is overvalued, definitely. WFM and LULU too.
